The beginning of a vowed life journey: Sr. Mary Faith recently made her first vows. On this day she freely proclaimed to live a life of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience.
The Holy Childhood School in Eshowe, South Africa, was founded by our Sisters a long time ago. They ran it for almost half a century, before some responsibility was given to lay people. Today, the sisters still have a strong link to the school.
It was a heartfelt moment to witness the reception of a young lady into the Novitiate. who feels very favoured by God for all that he has bestowed on her in her life.

In South Africa we live Ubuntu culture. The word means nothing else but humanity. It links very well with our Charism and calling as Franciscan Servants of the Holy Childhood of Jesus.
